  • Learn about FT10-CCF, a new forest type designed for increased forest resilience to climate change, pests, diseases and storm damage
  • Understand how the diverse forests planted under FT10-CCF can produce long-lived timber products to maximise carbon storage, while promoting biodiversity and healthy forest ecosystems 
  • Get expert insights on diverse species selection and group mixtures appropriate to site 
  • Explore how to balance economic, environmental and cultural values in your forest 
  • Become familiar with the Climate Resilient Reforestation Pilot Scheme

 

Workshop details: 

This half-day workshop, combining both indoor and on-site discussions, will be led by foresters Manus Crowley, Sean Hoskins and Paddy Purser, of Pro Silva Ireland
